In our classes you will learn not only the secret behind the magic, but also how to perform it to entertain your audience.
We have two age groups. Mini-Wands for ages 7-9 and Top-Hats for ages 10-17.
Parents / Guardians are welcome to stay as well.
A typical class consists of a sleight-of-the-week, followed by a demonstration of a magical effect and teaching how to do it, and finishing with an opportunity to perform.
The sleight-of-the-week is usually cards or coins and is intended to learn and practice standard moves that are used in a variety of magical effects. It is generally expected that the young magicians will bring their own cards and coins, however we do have practice sets that they can use during class.
The main magic effect being taught that class will be either close-up, parlour, or stage magic. We will provide all the materials necessary.
Magic is a performing art and as such we provide frequent opportunities to perform. Participation in performance at the end of the class is optional, however it is encouraged as this is one of the safest places where you can try something new.

Mini-Wands meet at 10:00 am.
Top-Hats meet at 11:30 am.
The classes are one hour long.

SYM meets at the Riverview Community Centre, 90 Ashland Ave. Winnipeg, MB.
Parking is free, with overflow on the nearby streets. There is a space in the community centre where parents / guardians can wait.
